Usually we get bills and junkmail, but we’re starting to see more of these:
Our family is deeply appreciative and grateful for CarePlanners’ support and assistance. Our daughter was under the care of a pediatric specialist and was diagnosed with multiple parasites after being sick for weeks. Upon her diagnosis we attempted to schedule an appointment with an Infectious Disease Doctor. Unfortunately the Dr’s schedule was heavily booked, and we were told his first appointment was in two weeks. We begged and explained our daughter’s condition, and conveyed our desperation to get an immediate appointment. The reply continued, there were no available appointments. Our frustration and upset was indescribable. We wanted to see this particular Doctor because they were part of a large group practice, which had all of our daughter’s testing results and diagnosis. We felt helpless and incompetent and knew we needed help. What a horrible feeling for parents to have! We contacted CarePlanners and were advised they would be able to help us. We were fortunate to be directed to Hildy Sheinbaum, an RN who is with CarePlanners. She spoke with us, questioned us in depth about our daughter, and informed us she would make contact with the Infectious Disease Doctor and handle everything. I was in tears when Ms. Sheinbaum informed us that we would have a call from the Doctors office within a few hours to set up an immediate appointment. We received a call two hours later, and magically had an appointment the next day to meet with the Doctor. CarePlanners’ expertise, sensitivity and ability to take over and make things happen was remarkable.
