Alan was 35 and living his life to the fullest with a successful career and a young family when he was diagnosed with cancer.  In one second he was immediately and overwhelmingly lost. What he had known before was no longer relevant. What he had believed before was no longer of consequence. Where he saw himself going was no longer a guiding principle.

Alan’s “new normal” was one of daily confusion. He struggled to deal with surgical, chemotherapy and radiation treatments in addition to insurance companies and dozens of doctors prescribing conflicting medications.
